As many as 3,000 people in Brevard County, Florida have Parkinson's Disease. Perhaps you've just been diagnosed with Parkinson's or are someone who has lived with it for some time.  Maybe you are a caregiver -- the spouse parent or child of an individual who is dealing with this condition.  All of you are welcome to be part of the Parkinson's Support Group of Brevard, where you will find yourself among people who are facing the same experience, feelings, and frustrations and questions.

We are committed to providing a caring, supportive and hope filled environment where you can share experiences, gain support, and receive encouragement.  This support allows us all to feel more confident in our abilities to actively cope with Parkinson's whether as a patient or caregiver.
In addition to sharing ideas and information amongst ourselves, we offer members the opportunity to learn from experts in the field who join us regularly to discuss the latest advances in the management and treatment of Parkinson's. Our guest speakers have included physicians, speech therapists, physical therapists and memory specialists to name just a few.

Our next  meeting is Thursday  June 24 at 1:30 at the Eau Galli Public Library,  Pineapple Ave.  Program wil feature PeggY Holloway from Senior Briddge speaking on "Developing a Plan for Fuuture Care and Support Needs".

  Future programs:
