Parkinson’s disease dramatically impacts the lives of those surrounding the person who is diagnosed. As the disease progresses the person with Pd requires more assistance with everyday tasks. It is important for the caregiver to have both the knowledge, skills and emotional support in order to take care of themselves as well as the patient. Research shows that a patient’s success is highly linked to the quality of care giving.
