Dr. Theresa Zesiewicz MD, Director of Research for South East Parkinson’s Disease Association (SEPDA), is an Associate Professor of Neurology and Assistant Director, Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders Center at the University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa, FL. Dr. Z, and other members of the Science Advisory Board, will answer your questions about Parkinson's Disease and other Movement Disorders.

PatientsLikeMe.com offers an  innovative and effective way to capture valuable results and share them with patients, healthcare professionals, and industry organizations that are trying to treat Parkinson’ s disease.

If you join you will be asked periodically to fill out a  profile of your symptoms, history and medications. Your pdrd score will be calculated and graphed and compared to statistical norms.  You will be able to search for other patients with the same symptoms, history and medications and contact them directly to start a dialogue.  There are also general topic open forums. 

Patientslikeme is a non-profit organization.  Its operating costs will be covered by partnerships with healthcare providers that use anonymized data from and permission-based access to the PatientsLikeMe community to drive treatment research and improve medical care.
